Why we need your Pupillary Distance (PD)

Your Pupillary Distance (PD) is crucial for making your opticals perfect. It is the measurement between your pupils and helps us align the lenses correctly with your eyes. Without your unique PD, we can’t ensure your lenses will give you the best vision. Knowing your PD means we can craft lenses that fit you perfectly and provide the clearest, most comfortable vision possible.

How to Measure Your PD at home:
If you don't have your PD, don't worry, measuring your PD at home is easy with these simple steps:

A millimeter ruler
A mirror
A friend (optional but helpful)

Steps to Measure Your PD:

Stand in front of a mirror:

If you're doing this alone, stand about 20 cm away from a mirror. If you have someone helping, sit facing them at the same distance.

Hold the ruler:

Place the ruler flat against your forehead, just above your eyes. Make sure the ruler is aligned with the bridge of your nose.

Align the zero:

Close your right eye and align the zero mark of the ruler with the center of your left pupil.

Measure the distance:

Close your left eye and open your right eye. Look straight ahead and note the millimeter mark that lines up with the center of your right pupil. This number is your PD.

Repeat to confirm

For accuracy, repeat the process a couple of times to ensure you get the same measurement.

If you have someone helping, they can hold the ruler and measure the distance between the centers of your pupils while you look straight ahead.
